Ben and Noelle Carr

Ben and Noelle Carr and their three children live in Indonesia, where Ben and Noelle partner with the local church to reach the unreached and build up the body of Christ. Their ministry has a twin focus: training pastors, teachers, and leaders through theological education and loving their neighbors through holistic care and outreach.

Currently, Ben teaches at the local theological college. The school itself receives students from multiple denominations. Still, most students hail from tribes in the mountainous region called Arfak, where they will eventually return to serve as pastors and leaders of their indigenous churches. Their neighbors and friends are a mixture of Muslims and Christians, which offers unique opportunities for them to share hope through daily interactions and holistic care. Noelle takes the lead there, where she serves new and pregnant moms in the local community and mentors the wives of some of the students. Each opportunity offers the chance for deeper relationships where they can engage in spiritual conversations.
